yes, the deal appears to be officially dead in the water. The reports that WISCO was not interested in dealing with HL and are 'unlikely' to finance it alone are disturbing if true. So where to now...... well one would imagine it is back to sq. one, with Posco, Glencore and any others with the leverage to lob a lowball bid and clean up this mess. Ultimately however I believe an equity deal will be done. 70/30 maybe, with SDL retaining 30% to be free carried to production. May as well tuck these shares back under the bed for a few more years.....As for hui lui or whatever his name is I reckon he may have been exposed as a fraud by his own people.He may be in deep shit and I couldnt be happier.
