This should be looked upon in a positive light for immutep. As the production and supply of the physical product will be key in the ability of Immutep to maintain continuity during it's ongoing trials and those in the pipeline. A manufacturing facility on the continent where the most important trials for approval are to take place (both for approval and the recruitment of patients).

When the products are proven to be effective. The marketing and distribution network will be in place, when and where the product line is approved throughout different jurisdictions across the globe. BOOM (had to slip one in)

Biological product candidates like IMP731, IMP701, IMP761 or IMP321 usually have more complicated manufacturing procedures thanchemically produced therapies. The change of manufacturing partners, manufacturing process changes or changes of other nature could impact theproduct quality and affect the comparability of different product batches. A lack of comparability could significantly impact the development timelinesand could even lead to a situation where regulatory bodies require additional or new pre-clinical or clinical development

It appears that WuXi is building a multi continent manufacturing and supply network.. Good move by management to partner with them...
Manufacturing moved from all continents to China, looks like Chinese companies are now moving their manufacturing facilities around the world.

Yes, companies that previously exported most of their product from China to the world are being forced to setup outside China again. Political tensions between China and the West means it is now prudent to diversify and investors will be expecting companies to do this.

This is good news for Immutepers
