Sovereign risk is all relative IMO
its not Australia, but that has its benefits too
witwatersrand has more gold extracted than anywhere else on earth, so fair to say, it’s not really THAT hard to get gold out of the ground in South Africa.
Does it run like clockwork with paper work on time etc etc obviously not, but I don’t think there is sovereign risk around whether it’s possible to be a gold producer in the country.
