That was a light hearted jibe. I have chartist friends. Always ask them ‘are the charts correct? Or is it just a matter of enough people believing in the charts that they make it correct?’
A ‘double bottom with a half twist’ means it’s a good time to buy? Well if enough chartists believes it they will make it happen then kneel to the chart Gods for providing divine provenance.
In ancient times many people used to go into hiding if they saw a comet. Did the comet do that? Well yes. If only because enough people believed a comet = bad shite and hence collectively made the decision to hide.
Now don’t get upset chartists. Each to their own. Couldn’t care less if you read cockroach legs to get your trading tips. Just being curious.
