I think all telstra / bigpond and telstra resellers are down. Very limited internet access using NextG (bigpond).
Fortunately etrade seems to be okay, bureau of meteorology is okay, can't access google, any international site including my own mail/website servers, abc (australia), or any site that is hosted internationally.
From whirlpool discussion its an Australia-wide problem for Telstra - although it's not yet acknowledged on their service status page! http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1274075&p=6
Bigpond says: "When a significant unscheduled disruption occurs, BigPond will aim to post information on this page within 1 hour of the incident occurring and provide regular updates until the service is restored."
Well, it's been an hour since it went bad and still no notice.
