Channel surfed my way onto 7:30 report last night and Wyatt Roy was being interviewed.
Despite my disdain for anything within the Liberal Party (treacherous dogs that they are) I thought he handled himself very well. Highly impressive.
True to form the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister put the boots into him.. Maybe worried he might come back to Oz and start telling the truth about what's really going on over there. Or maybe Mal couldn't handle the stage lights shining on Mr Roy rather than him for a brief moment?
I think this issue is a metaphor for everything that is going wrong for Australia. Go out and do something extraordinary and you get pilloried by the media, politicians and whole band of armchair bandits living a miserable life.
He really is a fantastic example for young people. Get out there and do something and give 'em the rude finger.
