Hey @Jako8557 some more comment from me as a follow up to my comments yesterday on your youtube bullish reversal video. I thought I would apply the close above requirement to a model of a weekly price action setup (no volume) that I have started to test for large cap ASX stocks. I have a small pilot sample with 58 data points so far using 2 stocks (MQG & CSL) over an 8 year period (2012-2019), using a standard entry method I use (break of the setu high). I re-ran the sample using your close above setup requirement as an entry condition, which eliminated 12 of the 58 emtries, and a definite positive impact on results - see table below for comparison of entry methods (standard & close above) for 4 different exit options, and equity curves comparing methods for 4 week trades & 13 week trades:
