My thoughts are ( very similar to you ) that supply was absorbed by the bar previous to your labelled bar and then by bar 1. Both of above average volume.
The subsequent bars have been narrower in spread and decreasing volume, indicating that supply at this level has been somewhat exhausted and has allowed the share to drift upwards in closing price.
