yeh, "battle" = high turnover, meaning both buyers and sellers saw fair value at that level. Fair value, POC or whatever name you wanna use.
Say it's at $1.
As the price moves up and away from $1 to say $1.50, one of two things will happen. Either the turnover stays as high as it was when the POC was printed, in which case this new price will probably hold. Or the turnover will fall (less buyers willing to step up and pay those prices). These sort of buyers may hold back thinking "last week I could get these for $1". So the price will have a tendency to revert to so-called "fair value". This can provide an entry point for a long trade.
That's in theory anyway.
