most importantly for me:
- cash position v marketing spend! i want to know that they are putting their money where their mouth is, and not spending all that capital they raised on marketing fluffery (like most of the sector does). i dont want that capital going to facebook and google to drive loan growth, but i want it invested into the capability inside the company to build out strong products, tech and partners. thats why i invested in these guys in the first place, because their strategy is a clear stand-out in the market of lending companies, and the only one i think will be really successful long term. so for me, i want to be assured they are are actually doing whats they said they will, and not doing what everyone else in this space does.
