Yes, but I would put it to you that the USA operates more like a 2nd world country, those stats may deteriorate as the health systems get overwhelmed and they are trying to shuffle resources around the board. Popping up in weird places like Detroit, Chicago, Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas with lower socio-economic communities, that will keep the conspiracy theorists busy.
I would think a big contribution to the spread will take place this weekend worldwide. But especially in the USA, the genie is out of the lamp there and it will continue to spread like wildfire, there will be 500,000 cases and 20,000 deaths there by next weeks end. No nationwide lock down, what ever they do now is too little, too late and the NYSE will plummet. They have murdered their economy and inaction and indecisiveness has and will kill many more of their citizens.
Still much of a believer in this story, bought the half I sold @ 29c back today and then some. Hoping for some opportunities below 10c in the future too. This story will play a big part in households recovering post crisis in Australia, equity position in homes will push many to the unsecured route to clean up the aftermath of COVID19. Consider that banks will struggle to lend to NSW and Vic securities, but that will not slake the need for credit. Starting @ 7.95% for someone with a good credit rating with terms up to 7 years, if they make it through they could be a $2 stock in 5 years.
