I fail to see why a consolidation is required at all?
I have unfortunately been involved in a few companies that have tried it and the end result both times was a total destruction of shareholder value, as the shares were inevitably sold down again to the previous price.
I understand the theory but the reality with these volatile penny dreadfuls is that the market is brutal and the shorts take it as another opportunity to make shed loads of cash.
