Looking at the monthly chart of XAO the index has reached a similar point to 1987..swift fall, 1994 ..slow drift down, 1997..swift fall. If we go for the alternating theory, then a slow drift down until late 2006. If a swift fall then we need something to create the condition, another Asian crisis[1997] or irrational exuberance[1987]. What will it be?
