What is it exactly that yo dont understand about the word DEMOCRACY???

The people of OZ are no fools - well, most of them arent (yo, loopie)

And before you gob off on the tack that JH is giving in to people "baser instincts"...

....remember "instincts" at a collective level are very adaptive. Very much geared to the survival of the group.

So it may very well be the "instinctive" reflex feeling to keep the people out, protect our borders and to limit their impact into our society is indeed functional

Where...anywhere in the world has multiculturalism fared well???

It is only because of the advent of PC that this whole issue has reared its head.

And for mine....the collective awareness of the group is probably spot on.

And the vote of the people has clearly demonstrated their lean.

So stop whining.

Except you wont.

You'll do what so many of your ilk does- preach as to how you know better than the masses and that they REALLY dont know whats best for them and that they (we)accept your version of how their lives should be lived
