Maybe if you're in for the short term. I've held for five years, and I am confident in five years time it will be worth a lot more than now. Acquistions like Waddle have the potential to change the shape and opportunity of the company. For investors that can see further out than their nose, the valuation isn't nearly as much of an issue.
Having said that, I wouldn't be rushing in to Xero for new investors either. There's no immediate catalysts and no harm in seeing how things play out, particularly as SMBs shape up following Covid.
