Following our win at the Victorian iAwards, last night Xero was awarded Australia’s National iAward for Payroll. This award is presented for the most innovative ICT solution to companies that are at the cutting edge of technology innovation. This win comes hot on the heels of Xero’s latest release where we announced functionality to lodge employee tax file declarations online, directly with the ATO. Already this year we’ve completely revamped our end of year process and rebuilt reporting from the ground up. We’ve also merged the Payroll API with the core Xero API, improving the customer experience for tens of thousands of employers.
