I married a Russian lady and as a result, have been to that country on a number of occasions. What strikes me as confusing is this so-called Russian/Chinese alliance. The majority of the Russian population want their western lifestyle. They do not like or trust the Chinese. There is no way the average Russian person would die for China. The majority of Russian people are good people and share the same values as you or I would. And they know how to fire up an excellent BBQ on the weekends. Sad to see them made out to be an enemy for all these decades when they could be great friends.
