Where Icon are already, they should be able to walk into one of those grants, immediately.
But, it goes back into that vicious circle, qualify under the terms of reference but who pays from then on???
UNLESS the Federal government can follow up this "carrot" it will be nothing but another political stunt to show that they are "doing something".
That $6 million for qualifiers will do what? Hang a certificate on the board room wall??? Justify a "performance" bonus to management??
If the government ARE fair dinkum, they must make representations to appropriate sources to make Australian money available for the development, or we just go on and on begging China and Japan to do the funding.
