many world leaders have travelled to Kyiev since the war begun. Presidents, Prime Ministers, and UN envoys. Japan's Prime Minister was there just yesterday, but you are in denial about this. Are we supposed to take you seriously. But this is the internet, and any fool can post.

Xi does not want an end to the conflict. If he did, he would have made a reasonable peace proposal where both sides had something to look forward to. But his plan basically gives 1/5 of the Ukraine to Russia, so once again, you have no credibility in analysis.

You also state that China only wants peace and promote trade. Well, everyone says that, even Putin. But dictators have a history of doing otherwise.

Here is a reason why Xi doesn't want an end to the Ukranian war. It has been enormously financial to China. When the oil and gas embargo hit Russia from Europe and most other countries, China bought all Putin's spare O & G for cheap. Xi is loving that, as it means the price of fuel has dropped in China. For as long as there is an embargo on Russian resources, China will get them cheap, and as long as there is a war in the Ukraine, there will be an embargo against Russia.

So you see, there is one very good reason why Xi doesn't want peace. His peace plan itself reflects the same, but I think you may have difficulty appreciating two reaons in one day.
