    Not strictly correct.

    Neville Chamberlain returned to the UK from Germany waiving a piece of paper proclaiming "peace in our time", just before Hitler invaded Poland.

    It was only Churchill that saw the danger.

    Things are dangerously similar now with the despot Xi and it seems he wants to have a go at Taiwan. If he does it will be bloody. The Taiwanese will not roll over meekly.

    The West must stand together an let Xi know that an attack on Taiwan will not be tolerated.
