IMO China's(CCP) objectives are:

(1) to continue growing at a rate greater than the rest of the world (particularly the USA)#

(2) to prevent internal conflict (grow social cohesion)

(3) to integrate HK & Tiawan with the Mainland

(4) to secure its supply/exports routes via the BRI & the South China Sea Artificial Islands (US proof itself)

(5) to lead the world in select areas as per its Made in China program.

IMO if it can achieve all 5 and avoid war/economically crippling trade sanctions by the USA it will:
-pass out the USA GDP in USD within a decade (passed out the USA in GDP (PPP) in 2014)
-develop its hi-tech war capabilities by 2040 (already embarked on space program& can build aircraft carriers 4 times quicker than the USA)
-debunk the USD as the Global reserve currency by 2040 (started by dealing out the USD in some international settlements + its Digital Yuan)
-push back the USA from Asia and share the globe with the USA by 2050.(USA West & China East)

IMO the CIA/US China Hawks are very concerned by this prospect and it will be interesting
how the USA will behave towards China over the next decade.

History tells us that a country that leads global manufacturing/trade eventually becomes
the Global Hegemon so the question is as per Graham Allison,"Is the USA & China Destined for War"

Ironically US sanctions on China, Russia & Iran has forged an anti-US alliance between the 3 which
initially the USA had not intended, IMO with Russia having a Nuke capacity very close to that of the USA, IMO.

USA Anti-China strategies:

These are mostly aggressively directed against China rather than seriously rebuilding US manufacturing
and trade capabilities:

IMO, the anti-China strategies commenced during the GFC with secret currency wars and then
followed up with Trump "in your face" confrontations :
-beef about China's increasing trade surpluses with China that gave way to tariff wars
-blaming China for Covid with the implication that it was malicious
-supporting the HK Freedom Pusch
-Highlghting Chinese anti-Muslim strategies against the Uighurs
-Stymieing China's Hi-Tech (eg: Huawei etc)
-Economic sanctions on targeted Chinese corporations &individuals.
-moves to counter BRI programs & BRI membership.
-restrictions on hi-tech exports to China

No doubt there are more clandestine things happening which will become
evident later. The Biden Admin unlike Trump that wrong footed the EC
countries, is building a Western Anti-China alliance as evidenced by
the content of the recent G7 meeting which IMO foreshadows more
US economic sanctions on China.

IMO, China has already wedged the EC vis its already trade agreements
& its incursions into Greece, Italy & East European EC countries via its BRI
Keep in mind that Europe, not the USA is the biggest global consumer market block.

IMO the USA should re-industrialise & deal with its internal social unease
before tackling China so that it is unified and economically independent/strong
before the serious bingles happen
