Some Xjo historical trivia if any interested, more specifically, Xao...
Taking averaged logarithm of US post 1929 range and ours, since then Xao to date has risen almost exactly the same as US.
Doesn't account for interest rate differential.
Logic behind av'd log is if market range went from the more extreme twice the high to half the low: Avg is same.
On relative terms, US been catching up to us rather than us falling behind since GFC.
