When the markets drop 20% this will not show a dent on the charts if you use log scales. Therefore most intelligent types will not sell.. then it drops to 50% and the drop is getting more significant.. but it still doesn't show the damage on your charts.. keep holding.. when is it significant.. 87% from 1929?
In reality (as you might have realised from CSL) a drop in value by 20% from the highs is taking longer to recover than before. The drop in value doesn't look at log scales.. it just highlights missing out on an opportunity.
