So good - old inflation si coming down, huh? Well,

• my mobile phone plan just went up by 60%,
• my internet went up by 10%.Was $55/mnth in 2017, now $77 .
• I dont see fuel prices coming down.
• I see some fresh food prices coming down, but I dont see processed foods /other groceries decreasing in price,
• I dont see price reductions at Bunnings. For eg a Honda Line Trimmer was $440 3 years ago, now its $540.
• 10 years ago you could get a suburban yard in Ipswich mowed for $30 (30 mins work), now they wont even come out for $80.
• Too bad if you want an acre mowed, expect the bill to be in the hundreds.
• Matt from Diesel Creek had to sell his church project (convert to 4 apartments)  because when inflation hit buidling materials sky rocketed and never came down
• GP wont bulk bill anymore.
• Getting some chiro done soon, shuddering at what the prices will be. ($60 a treatment 10 ys ago.)
• House pricxes, insurance, rates, govt charges (licence, rego, etc) all being indexed regulalry, but  ATO does not index tax brackets annually.

But Im lucky. Some are way less fortunate than me. From th local FB community page.

Meanwhile, love those cameras that peek into to your car to see if you're wearing a seatbelt or using a phone whilst driving.
