When I first visited Western Europe decades ago, I was amazed at how expensive it was. Especially France - accomodation fair, but food,food service,bars, fuel, and many goods very expensive. No European G20 country I visited was cheap. Reports from people i know that live there suggest nothing has changed. What is the price of a litre of petrol over there I wonder?
