Agree with the comments on China. Seen many video's re factory shutdowns.
Was at Bunnings recently to replace my Ryobi garden blower skin. The last one I had was made in China looks like they have now moved to Vietnam.
In the US its all about Near-shoring. The big winner is Mexico. The trade numbers seem to back up this change.
Feel sorry for the rural population in China who moved to the cities at great cost to their well being to make "cheap stuff for companies like Bunnings". Some dont get to see their kids for over an year & those are the lucky ones! (because of a rule where you have to go to school in the district / area you are born in otherwise you have to pay for education which is well beyond the reach of the typical rural factory worker).
