If we have accumulating inflation, then the calculations are month on month increases. I get these outcomes if we have the following months at these new higher levels.
Core would be 4.9%.
Vanilla inflation would be 3.65%.
No wonder the markets reacted. See how the media play it tonight. Futures already pushing a very small amount. As I mentioned likely going to head back up because all the blinkered see only positive. lol.
