i try to buy snas whenever i see a pullback coming. I sold my snas early last time, from memory around 1.67 to 1.82 but I did have a sizeable amount (low six figures) that I was mainly using to hedge my bond and preferential share portfolio before the us10 spiked above 4.5 and while I was waiting for my aus gov bond to mature last month. I did manage to buy a couple of bbb+ preferential shares at just under 7% during that time and took a punt on TBN recently.

Other than a few holdings on the asx, I’m mainly invested in American fixed income assets. If your attempt to “talk me out of it” had any relevance to the above then I might have taken notice but otherwise nobody on hc can talk me out or into doing anything. I suggest you do the same.
