I don't think home prices are going down, the government is printing too much money and mass immigration 2x now. The people they are bringing in the government will want them to get finance to purchase homes, we have seen how the Australian government does things, during covid, they gave foreigners 50k to buy Australian homes, the government gives people first home buyers grants, if your deposit is too low and have to buy insurance no problem the government help pad your deposit so much you don't need to pay insurance, once you buy a home the government will keep helping you pay giving you cost of living deductions, family allowance etc etc. It's not going down (any meaningful deflation) in AUD at least.
