SPX similar chart patterns..
27 July 2023 - days before a major drop (long bar)
9 Nov 2023 - following session major push then up (short bar)
20 Dec 2023 - sat sideways for a few weeks then continued higher (short bar)
4 April 2024 - a few days before a minor drop (long bar)
Friday bar was long.. following session was similar to July and April. @wave4 agreed. Need to look at movements from here but it's definitely looking bearish at present.
With enough money you can make anything appear as you want.
Volumes last two Oz sessions have been reduced. Obviously waiting for direction from US. Even the options markets were lower than usual. Is this the retail crowd running out of money? Soon no buyers for the majors?
