Here's a speculative idea.
If the Dems go for an all-female ticket, I think they have a chance of winning the election.
Abortion will be a key issue.
If the Dems go for an all women ticket, I think they will overwhelmingly win the women's vote.
Getchen Whitmere, Governor of Michigan, would be an ideal choice.
That, however, has a big IF in it.
It would be a history changing time if the Dems did go for an all-female ticket.

She's a dyed in the wool Dem - but a great negotiator, able to straddle the divide which is currently such a problem in American society.
Probably won't happen.
