As I keep on suggesting, watch this video (if you don't have time for 22 minutes, start at 5:30). Especially those that really don't understand about historic non-linear increases in unemployment rates.

Similar charts occur at each time a recession occurs. The one below is from 1973/4 but he provides them for each recession. Unemployment heads lower, then has a miniscule increase, and then in most cases, 7 months later, the rate increases in a non-linear fashion. This is history.

And BTW, each recession has the Fed always telling the public that it will be a soft landing. You need to understand why.... Because any other narrative would send the economy into a nosedive without allowing the smart people to exit with minimal damage. If you listen to those who continuously offer the same narrative as the Fed, you will suffer a bad outcome.

Each cycle is the same. Good economy, to bad economy. And a drop in interest rates will never reverse the trend until it has played out. If you want to listen to those who tell you instead of explaining their logic with evidence, then by all means do as you wish. Best of luck to those sprouting false ideas. Maybe I am wrong, but history always has the same outcome. Maybe it will be different this time ... lolser...
