What is it going to take for a CB to raise rates??
I'm not a big spender, nor a business owner, but I can assure you that things are inflating BIG TIME and it's not Putins fault, it's not Covid supply chain inelasticities fault, it is squarely the sloshing cheap money trying to find a home - something the big institutions effectively only have access to.
Hopefully the plebs that haven't already lost their jobs/businesses can find themselves with a payrise soon, and not this 2% CPI crap
On that note, once the pent up lockdown demand money has been spent, there is going to be a LOT of belt tightening, and once again, that's for those that haven't lost their income because of small business closures or vaccine mandates/medical martial law.
My partner has been job searching for a broad range of 'unskilled' (largely) part time work for 6 months and is struggling to get interviews. There is no jobs boom
