I am not sure f the move inversely is totally accurate. There are times when this is the case but a lot of the time it moves in correlation IMO. It hink it might be more linked to deflationary (or very low inflation times) when a reduction occurs eg 2008, 2020. But a few times can be considered to do with GeoPolitical situations obviously.
March 2008 a surge in gold AND oil, right before it got dumped alongside the markets. Maybe wait for the next surge in oil price. WB seems to think that when interest rates start to fall is when the surge in Oil price and therefore his recent major investment in Occidental (if I remember correctly).
