Just revisiting my post of 14/9 again (Post #: 75674942) where I was looking into the Fed rate cuts that occurred in 2007/2008 and the SPX & NDX charts at the time to see how the indexes reacted to the cuts.

The first decision to cut on 18 Sep 2007 resulted in a -50 bps change, Things seemed to start unraveling mid to late Oct 2007.

Below snapshot of the SPX & NDX in 2007/2008 and SPX & NDX in 2024. Similarities in the charts where we have an uptrend towards July then downtrend towards Aug before uptrend in Sep where we have -50 bps rate cut. In 2007 the uptrend continues in Oct so it'll be interesting to see it plays out the same today.
