So you think the ASX 50 was a "screaming buy" back in 2006?. Of the current ASX50, I could only find 36 listed back then. Only nine has appreciated in value 3 years after May 2006. Five did very well, the other four appreciated to an unexciting level. But 27 of those 36 stocks were all sitting on losses three years later.. 75% of them. Screaming buy? Well for a bagholder, yes, not an experienced trader , who buys cheap.

We look forward to your "magical" repeat performance of buying at or near the market top, and another 14 year exile say from 2026 - 2040. See you in 2041, if you're still alive.

Thats what you did Lord Calidus.
But I did not.
I was a buyer in May 2006 (screaming buy) as I was for 20 years prior to that.
But I was out of the stockmarket (100% cash) by September 2007, making a big profit.
I bought back in May 2009 (obvious trade) and have made a killing since.
Everyone knows that, as they do this:
