Do you believe that? Cos if every full time worker was getting that, then there wouldnt be much problem coping with the current inflation. Quite interesting to note that these days public sector wages are higher than private. Thats not the way it is supposed to work, so something has gone serriously wrong there, and no wonder we are breeding a nation of bludgers.
They tell you what the avg full time wages are, but not the part timers. So I had to work it out myself.
Firstly , only half the bloody country works!
Secondly , part timers are makng 53K p.a. on average?
That doesnt sound right to me, because minimum wage is $47K per year, and 30% of the workforce is on minimum wage.
