Here is when Putin attacked Ukraine. The spike didn't last long but resulted in excessively higher prices than prior.
What has been happening recently? Attacks on tankers and shipping. Ships being diverted around. Oil prices likely to increase if this increases. Alternatively, this could tip the world into a recession. Either way this is going to be bad for the global economy.
