I wonder if mining productivity (amongst other enterprise) are affected by the mandates. There's certainly a talent shortage that can't be fixed by 457 visas. I believe many people throughout the Western world are taking a good break/early retirement because of the vaccine mandates.. and those that remain, they probably understand that their employers see them as guinea pigs and not valuable assets, which would also negatively affect productivity.

As for the drop in smart phone purchases - since April 2021, the excess death rates for people ~25-65 in many developed countries has increased FORTY PERCENT. That's a lot of prime consumers six foot under. Apple may want to sue Pfizer...

I'm just speculating on wider economic issues right now because the ASX just keeps grinding up and the thread is slow - I'm in absolute disbelief given the state of the world, P/E, bonds, food insecurity, Chinese residential property debt etc.
