India’s headline inflation eases to cooler-than-expected 2.82% in May as food prices slide
The central bank surprised markets with a jumbo rate cut last week.
The move, spurred by easing inflation, underscores policymakers’ shift toward more aggressive monetary easing to bolster economic growth.
As I posted before they knew exactly what was coming hence the surprise "jumbo rate cut" last week? Sounds like "deflation" concerns? There's that word again seems to be popping up a lot lately? Like I said before with China suffering from deflation, global recession is inevitable.
Funny thing though as posted prior, we always see large "jumbo" panic rate cuts right before every crash/recession? When things are booming we raise rates not cut. At least we are seeing the red flags so we can be prepared. Although bulls will just keeping saying "this time is different" all the way down.
