The only question relevant to me is why 2 weeks Donald, why not 2 days or 1 day, why not now? More time needed to finalise those trade positions? TACO by name TACO by nature. Agree they usually like to strike on the weekend when markets are closed.
BOJ should raise rates but it'll affect the carry trade. Also not mentioned is that a rise in oil prices will affect the carry trade too as Japan import all their oil and this will raise inflation further. Japan sacrificing its people for Wall Street.
