Top content for the week, lads. Very entertaining and informative. Lets welcome our new members DirtyBogan and Tut tut T T T T Troy. ( I think those were their names, something like that anyway)
    Melt-Up: Definition

    What Is a Melt-Up?

A melt-up is a sustained and often unexpected improvement in the investment performance of an asset or asset class, driven partly by a stampede of investors who don’t want to miss out on its rise, rather than by fundamental improvements in the economy.
Gains that a melt-up creates are considered to be unreliable indications of the direction the market is ultimately headed. Melt-ups often precede meltdowns.
    Meltdown Meaning

A meltdown in finance means events such as a steep decline in stock markets, asset values, corporate losses, and so on that batter the economy and lead to losses for investors

My interpretation is a rapid almost vertical descent/ascent. Best example I know is the N225.  It had a short melt up prior to the top, and two melt downs innediately after in 1990. However that wasnt the end; it dropped a further 8000 points from 22K to 14K in the next two years, but in a more controlled fashion

Since the beginning of this year, the DAX has had two eight week  melt-ups similar to N225, but this time the top is playing out very differently.

Good luck with your predicitions, but my numbers at present  are telling me the XJO BBBs are nowhere near done, they are super keen to buy, and buy more, so go long where you can cos it is way easier.

I think though, the poor BBBs will require their own special Dawn Service when the Market Makers finally rip them a new one. PLease bow your head with me, as we usher in the era of the new "Poor Generation"

" I dont see a major war breaking out as many mid east countries still on a quest to become the next UAE ? "
Can you elaborate on what you mean by this?
