The market is at a tipping point. All the indexes are hitting trend lines that could cause a reversal, including the VIX (see below). IMO, its all going to depend on what the FED does and says next week. It seems likely the fed will hike rates by 75-100 bps and take a hawkish stance because retail spending remains hot which has to be reined it in. That will push the USD higher and put a recession back on the cards. (Did the FED warn the ECB? I think so.)
