Talk on CNBC and other media outlets is for October being the traditional month for seeing famous bottoms in markets. Curious as the rest of market, retail, are hoping for a bottom in September but historically October is the month to watch. Since these media outlets are the mouth piece for the big boys are they planning on maximum pain to the downside and a new low in October? Careful being long.
P.S. Even if we do see a new bottom will that be a short term bottom with more pain to come as news continues to become more grim? I would bet on any bottom being short term only in nature with more pain for the next 12 months as things stand. Good luck all.
