However if the case goes through and we see Evergrande liquidated then there'll be a few institutions that get a big black mark on their books.

If that's a non event then we've mega caps earnings and Yellen and FOMC that'll give bears another shot.

If bears can't take their chance this week then they've got some big problems.

I've got April puts on CBA, so ideally any one of those catalysts would be helpful. If not then CBA have earnings in a fortnight.

Sooner or later somethings gotta give but whether that's in the timeframe I want is another story.

Guess time will tell...

Ok, well looks like Evergrande has finally hit the wall taking around $300B with it.

I'm sure the market will shrug it off and keep making ATHs but the rot in Chinas property sector will spill over soon enough.

Evergrande may have been the big dog but it's not a lone wolf.

There's around 50 developers that have defaulted.

Country Garden next on the block???

What instos are actually going to mark the losses on their books or they just gonna shuffle the deck each quarter while they kick the can further down the road?
