I was thinking this was a test of the air defences and maybe like the Hamas attack is to reduce the number of weapons to stop incoming missiles later. They are using Ukraine tactics whereby they are making very cheap drones being taken out with very expensive missiles.

I would suggest that this is a distraction and the larger attack will come later when the US military might is not aware of it coming.
