@ 4:40 in Mavericks latest video (link a few posts back by Ewebute) Powell unequivocally says the US Feds "policy is not yet sufficienly restrictive to bring inflationd down to 2%". He also said "we are not discussing rate cuts at all". same thing he's been saying all along, and yet the bulls are off their heads on hopium again. Market is just plum belligerent and ignorant.
DAX - coooked
NDX - cooked
FTSE - cooked
What about Charter Hall Group (CHC)? It is a major property fund manager and a developer, holding investments in a suite of property funds diversified across office, retail, industrial and residential sectors. Rents should be good across all those sectors (if they can get tenants), but can they, and are commercial property values any good? Market doesnt seem impressed. It is lower than pre Covid levels.
CHC - cooked, but even it had a lift from last weeks action.
Sorry for the downramping, but I did do a bit of upramping for the "resilient" global economy here though.
