That's why you need to understand history and the political ramifications that ensue.
Someone has to pay for a "social" crime.
Eventually when all the scapegoats have been skinned, and someone in government is adventurous enough to take their foot off the neck of the evil beast, then markets and their animal spirits will revive and the bull will be rampant again.
But that is some years away.
