I'm no expert on US politics but the death of Ginsburg and the selection of a new SC judge throws an extra variable into the US election and the short term behaviour of the share market. Any further stimulus appears to be subject to Democrat majority congressional support which may be not forthcoming now that a SC seat is at risk. If there is no further stimulus, the share market potentially drops (crashes?). If this happens Trump is unlikely to win the election. What is worth more to the Republicans? - the re-election of DT or an extra conservative seat on the Supreme Court?
