The XJO closed sharply lower on Friday (right on top of the late April high), and through the bottom of the (relatively steep) uptrending channel.
It sliced down strongly from the open, and removed all of the gains from the last six trading sessions.
The Index had showed signs that supply had entered the market on Thursday, and this was confirmed with Fridays widespread downbar.
Volume (value traded) increased, as would be expected on a widespread bar, although it was not as high as I thought it might be.
cheers
